Garage Beer has secured a $20 million revolving credit facility from Tiger Finance as the American light beer company expands its distribution and retail operations.
The financing provides access to borrowing capacity rather than new equity investment. Unlike a conventional venture capital round, a revolving credit facility allows a company to draw funds, repay them and borrow again within agreed limits.
Based in Columbus, Ohio, Garage Beer has been led by founder Andy Sauer since 2023. Its stakeholders include NFL stars Jason and Travis Kelce and investment firm Durational Capital Management, which made a strategic investment in the business in 2025.
The company operates in the competitive premium light beer category, where national distribution, marketing and shelf availability play a major role in growth. The new credit facility can support its working capital needs as it manages inventory and expands into additional markets.
For a consumer brand, rapid retail expansion creates financing challenges because production and distribution expenses often arrive before retailers pay for inventory. Debt financing can help fund that gap without requiring the company to sell additional ownership.
The next challenge for Garage Beer is translating brand recognition into sustained retail demand while managing the costs of competing against much larger, established beer manufacturers.
