Gallatin AI has raised $50 million in Series A financing to expand software that helps military teams plan and manage supplies. Investors in the round include 8VC and Silent Ventures. The company’s focus is logistics rather than weapons: deciding where equipment, fuel, ammunition and other resources need to be and when they can arrive.

Its platform, Navigator, is intended to improve decisions across complex supply networks. That matters when routes change, inventory information is incomplete or transport is contested. A plan that works in a stable warehouse can fail quickly when units move or infrastructure is disrupted.

The startup has pointed to work with military organizations as evidence of demand, and the new funding is expected to support product development and deployment. The defense market is attractive for companies that solve urgent operating problems, but procurement, security and integration requirements can limit the speed of expansion.

Gallatin’s next test is whether its software improves outcomes consistently enough to become part of routine planning across multiple commands. The value of a logistics AI system is measured in fewer shortages, faster decisions and better use of constrained resources, not simply how sophisticated its forecasts appear.
