EZ Bombs has raised $25 million in Series A funding after turning a viral food product into a consumer brand distributed through more than 8,000 retail locations.

CAVU Consumer Partners led the round. The Florida-based company makes concentrated seasoning balls that dissolve during cooking, combining the chiles, spices and aromatics used in dishes such as birria and pozole.

EZ Bombs was founded by Brandon Castaneda, his mother Tina Castaneda and his sister Nichole Munoz. The idea emerged from an attempt to make traditional family recipes easier to prepare. The company's early growth came through demonstrations on social media, particularly TikTok Shop, where it says it sold more than one million units in 2025.

At the beginning of 2025, EZ Bombs had no retail distribution. Its products are now available through Walmart, Target, Costco, Kroger, Albertsons and Publix, among other retailers. The new capital will support manufacturing, product development, executive hiring and further distribution.

The company's rapid expansion illustrates how consumer brands can move from direct online sales into national retail chains. The commercial test will be whether demand remains strong beyond viral content and whether repeat purchases can support a profitable business at a much larger scale.
